As a specialised big and bulky home delivery crew we are taking all the necessary steps to ensure the safety of our crews and customers. ADR Training Courses
Gencat provide Training for ADR drivers. Exams can now be taken on line at approved examination centres in Maynooth, Naas, Galway and Cork. The Online ADR Basic Exam consists of a total of 36 multiple choice questions. The Paper is divided into three (3) sections, A, B and C. New Training Centre
Gencat have opened a new training centre to cater for the increased demand for professional driver training. Key to the new training facility is the quality of the trainers delivering the training. Gencat Driver Academy
Two recruits have been approved to take part in the Gencat Driver Academy, this is a partnership between the Dublin & Dun Laoghaire Educational & Training Board. The two recruits will undergo an extensive professional driver training programme. The training will be over a twenty six week period where the candidates will complete a driving course in Class C licence and gain experience in driving and working as a professional driver. Posted 07 February 2018 The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provided funding for HGV driver behaviour monitoring and training to reduce diesel fuel consumption and emissions in the road transport sector. The current spate of over turned trucks and shedding loads are reaching levels that must be of concern to the Road Safety Authority, the Health and Safety Authority, An Garda Siochana, Insurance Companies, the road transport Industry and the general public. New Dublin 30km/h Zones
To protect the growing number of vulnerable road users in Dublin city, Dublin City Council is to introduce new 30Km/h speed limit zones. New zones with the lower 30Km/h will be introduced in three phases, with the first phase starting on the 27th of March followed by the second phase, on the 29th of May.
